Software Application for a Leading Title Search Agency

Project Overview:
Verticity designed and developed a software application which extracts data from various electronic court records online and places it all onto one database. 

About Our Client:
The client is one of the largest title search agencies in the US. The client wanted a program created that would allow users to collect data and information from various databases for full Bankruptcy and District court cases on a daily basis, without having to go through all the records manually as they have done for over 20 years. 

Our Solution:
Verticity has created CES (Court Extraction Software)-a software application that extracts data from several databases and places them into the Judgment Warehouse database. Instead of going through all of these courts/indexes separately, CES allows users to access all this information on one central database. The top priority of this project, and the most vital was to be able to create an application that would centralize all this information quickly and with ease.
The application is built for Microsoft windows platform as a desktop application.
The CES application does not run as a service, but an application that remains online 24/7. It checks for schedules to run. A schedule may contain instructions for the search criteria and other specifics such as number of retries, and maximum number of returned results. If schedules are available to the application, an instance of a spider is run individually until it ends. For example, until it gets the data with the required pattern and then inserts that data into the database.
If a certain database page contains different than normal behavior, such as asking for a username/password, CES is able to bypass this step and grant user access to the records in the central database.

Benefits of CES:
CES is powerful and robust software. Its fast and precise search and report features make it a candidate for a number of scenarios. It can be used to obtain information even when the format and syntax of the information is continuously changing.
It can prove extremely useful when a search task is to be preformed on continuous bases and precision in results is required. A user may fill in his requirements in a form along with required specifications wanted in the result report and CES can search the information for the user without further intervention.
